It affords us pleasure to announce that the Israelites of this small town have established a Congregation under the name of Hebrew and at the meeting of the Congregation held April 26th the following gentlemen were elected officers for the ensuing year. Sal: Levy Esq Presidend I. I. Rothshild Treasurer, L. I. Herrman, Trustee, A. Wolff, Secretary We are only 15 members in their Congregation and are glad to let you know, that Mr. Leopold Maas? a lately comer from Europe, has been chosen Hebrew On motion, the following resolutions were unanimously adopted
Resolved, that the thanks of the Congregation are due and hereby tendered to the President and Board of Trustees, for the able and efficient manner in which the affairs of this Congregation have been conducted
Resolved. That the thanks congregation duly appreciates the services rendered by the secretary
Resolved That the proceedings be published in the Occident (Extract from the Minutes) A. Wolff Secretary.
