Dear Sir,
Dr. Solomon's called on me in answer to my letter in relation to your debt. He says that he is pressed at present but will pay in time, and desires me before proceeding to communicate to you. I asked him for part of this claim and I would give him time for the balance this he appears not willing to do. I therefore await your answer.
From what I know of the Doctor's disposition to pay up (entre vous) should advise you to in=struct me to sue him.

Dear Sir
I know Morrison is right you'd not obtain a cent ? the scoundrel ?, and if you wish to obtain your money it will have be done, why should he go to Stra?berg? and buy an estate nott you have coming as the journa? take my advise and you I got your money sue him at once. Mr Morrison with no justice, if the D- finds you in earnest, he will pay at once
