Append to the piece the poor of Palestine.
From the subjoined which we copy from the Jewish Chronicle of December 2nd, it will be seen that the good and eminently pious friend of Palestine. Rabbi Hirsch Lebrew has been summoned to his reward. The account is copied from the Israelite a paper appearing in Amsterdam and is insert it both from respect to the eminent dear, as also to advertise our readers to whom they can address their donations for the Holy Land to be expended for the poor?, should they desire to send their contributions to Holland instead of England or New York, though all the agents in this work of charity are true & faithful. copy J. Chron. p. 73 Ed. Oc. at the end of the appeal We also copy an account of a Lecture by Rev Dr. Adler, which will prove how urgently relief is
required to relieve pressing wants, which there are no ready means to alleviate. copy Jewish Chronicle page 71 - Identifier
