Honored Sir:
I have received your honored letter and, therefore, send you the Moses and Aaron* that you desired. Holzman departedmfor the West 2 months ago. The wholesale price of the pictures is $.50 each. The enclosed bill is being sent to you in order to show it to the customer because I sell such at a retail price of $1. Mr. Moss will not come until Rosh Hashonah, and I shall write to him about the penitential hymn-book for Tish-a-b'av. Mr. Bondi has until this moment not de-livered anything masterful. The next issue will appear in a new shape and is to bear the title, “Shomer Israel”. It is feared that he will lose money, since the first issue contained over 130 typographical errors, i. e. in the German article. Moreover, a new weekly is appearing here. If you have a free opportunity to have someone take something along, send me 6 prayer books, “Dibrei Zaddikim”, in ordinary binding, because I hope to do some more business for you before Rosh Hashonah. I shouldn't like to pay for freight.
