My dear sir
Used as I am to surprises of the same nature, that caused by the enclosed p[?] graph from our mornings paper has induced me to send the clipping to you. It is an associated press dispatch sent broadcast through the land. May we not hope that it will cause the thoughtless to reflect, or are we to prepare to see our synagogues (?) decorated with evergreens at Christmastide. Folly has trod its natural course to madness--will destruction follow or is there a hope of cure. With kind regards truly yours D Solis Cohen
