My dear Sir,
I have been requested, to ask your kind offices, with respect to the course of lectures on Jewish History to be delivered before the Y. M. H. A, and to beg of you to take the 1st of the Series, viz; "The Destruction of the I Temple, the Babylonish Captivity & the Restoration," and also, "The Spanish Period" later in the season.
If you could possibly be ready for Saturday Evening, October 27th you would much oblige. If not, Nov 10th could be set aside for this purpose.
