Dear Sir:-
Through kind permission of Dr. Drachman, I take the liberty of writing you a letter. I intend to go back to the Seminary but under one condition--and, that is: Stipendiary. I think you would have granted me this without any application, but yet I deemed it necessary to write you in order to be perfectly sure about it. I hope to become a scholar of the "Senior" class; though I may be a little back in Hebrew Grammar, I will study up, and assure you to be as diligent, as any other of the pupils.
