Kind Friend and Zealous Israelite. Fearing you may think your good advice & generous offer, in regard, to instruction, in our holy tongue, falls (in my case) upon needless ears; I take this means of informing you how sincerely I regret, that Irving, will not this year be able to avail himself of the opportunity, so nobly, and so kindly furnished but his lessons, at the High School, make such heavy demands, upon his time, that he is obliged to study and write, each and every day far into the evening hours, having realy not a moments time, for exercise or recreation, which I greatly deplore, fearing the tax, both on brain, & eyesight. Estille
and Clarence make good progress under the kind care of Miss Piexotto at the house once a week, but Irving has no time even to embrace this opportunity. Trusting you will feel, how much I request existing circumstances, & hoping for better in the near future
