Highly Honored Doctor:-
You will certainly think of me as a candidate for the new college in New York, you are aware that I am a candidate and was examined by the com-mittee, passing and declared competent.
As there was plenty of time until the opening I went to Chicago in the meantime.
I would like to return to my position, but I have striven in vain. I do not possess the means to make the trip. You

will indeed confer a great favor upon me by procuring me ticket, even if it be second class. I will be industrious & thankful and endeavor to be an honor to the school. Please send the ticket in care of, Dr. Hel-senthal, 450 Randolph St., Chicago.
