We have for many years past had the pleasure of numbering you among our readers, and we doubt not that you have formed your impressions of the character and conduct of The American Hebrew. It would, therefore, afford us great pleasure, in connection with our tenth anniver-sary, to receive from you a candid expression of your opinion.
We may, without boasting state that we have set for ourselves a high ideal of what a Jewish journal should be; and we have clung steadfastly to this ideal--which we have not yet reached--in spite of pecuniary sacrifices at times involved.
